Crumbling degenerate pillars
covered with velvety moss
Like a weathered carpet
in a a dark world
Unstable!
Echoes in darkness
play hide and go seek
Voices unseen of things
yet to come
Or,
Are they gone...?
Creatures grotesque
Formless yet solid
Creep out
of their murky holes
A ray of light
pierces through...
They scurry back
Bulky, bumbling bodies
in ungraceful stance
Flashes!
In vengeance
Slap through the dark veneer
of dingy decay
Further collapse....
An absurdly collapsed existence
Dreary signs, dreary dilemmas
in cluttered harmony
of a once grand empire
Frame the future
of non-existence
Or inexistence?
Vision Oh! Dreadful-
OvEr.........

@ mathew: Thanks mathew! This was a dream, a very vivid one actually. Cudn't shake it off even after wakin up!Just had to write it down to unburden some of the intensity offa my head. Ya, i knw, ithiri vattu kooduthala! He, he! And thats not the confounding thing-- i cant figure out whether its a vision of the past....or the future!
